Still have questions..?

  • When is the best time for a maternity / pregnancy shoot?
From around 32 weeks when your bump is lovely and round.
  • Will you help me with what to wear?
Absolutely, with a love of fashion and textiles, I love helping with what to wear to your session. With every session I provide a style guide, it will help you with colours, styles and tips on what looks good when photographed. I also have a small client wardrobe especially for maternity that you are welcome to use. We'll work together and chat about the best clothing options so you turn up feeling happy and confident.
  • How long before I receive the images?
Within a few days of your shoot you will receive a 'sneak peek' from your session. I aim to have your shoot with you within 2 weeks, 3 weeks for a full gallery.
  • When is the best time for a newborn shoot?
If you are wanting to capture your little one teeny tiny then I would recommend having the shoot within the first 2 weeks of the birth as a baby tends to be more sleepy and easier to settle, it's the perfect time to document those tiny features before they grow.
  • My baby is 6 weeks, have I missed the photo opportunity?
Not at all, baby's are lovely to photograph at any age. I have photographed lots of baby's at the 6-8 weeks mark and although they are not sleeping so much you can get some beautiful images. They are more wide eyed and inquisitive, you can even capture those first smiles!
  • How long does the session take?
The session takes around 2-3 hours, this allows for changing and feeding.
  • What do I need to prepare for if you come to my home to do the shoot?
I always work with natural light when I am photographing a baby/family indoors, so I'll focus on areas near windows that have soft natural light. I love to include your favourite belongings, like a family blanket for example, so please have anything ready you would like to use.
